By car:
From the A1 motorway:Proceed via the Elbe bridges in the direction of the city centre. Follow "Amsinckstrasse" in the direction of the main station, then proceed via "Glockengiesserwall" and "Lombardsbrücke". After crossing the bridge,
turn left into "Neuer Jungfernstieg", left into Jungfernstieg and then left
again into Ballindamm.
Parking spaces are provided in the nearby multistorey car parks.
From the A7 motorway:
Take the Stellingen exit in the direction of the city centre. Proceed via
"Eimsbüttler Marktplatz" and "Fruchtallee" to "An der Verbindungsbahn"
and past Dammtor station and then take the second road on the right into "Neuer Jungfernstieg". At the end of the Binnenalster lake turn left into
"Jungfernstieg" and then left again into "Ballindamm". Parking spaces are available in the nearby multistorey car parks.
From the A1 from the north-east or from the east from the A24:
Take (from the A1) the A24 and follow signs for Jenfeld as far as the Horn roundabout. There proceed down "Sievekingsallee" (practically straight ahead) in the direction of Hamburg city centre. At the main station turn right into "Glockengiesserwall" and go over "Lombardsbrücke". After crossing the bridge, turn left into "Neuer Jungfernstieg", left into "Jungfernstieg" and then left again into "Ballindamm". Praking spaces are provided in the nearby multistorey car parks.
By air:
Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel Airport
Taxi from airport: approx. 30 minutes (possible tailbacks).
Air transfer by bus to main station / Kirchenallee.
By rail:
Hamburg main station, exit "Glockengiesserwal"l. Go right in the direction of the Binnenalster lake. There go left into "Ballindamm" (10 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by taxi).
By underground:
Jungfernstieg station, Ballindamm exit.
